Welcome to the byDESIGN Fitness Home Study Program
Over the next several weeks, we are going to share a ton of cool stuff with you.
Ultimately, I hope to be able to teach you what I have taught myself… getting fit does not require a great deal of time or money – IF you are actually doing it properly!
Remember, the key feature to byDESIGN Fitness workouts is that they only need to take 12-15 minutes to complete. So, no more excuses about time, okay?
Speaking of time, let’s stop wasting it, and get to it.
As we get started I want you to remember a couple of things:
- Don’t be overwhelmed… We are going to give you a great deal of content. Create an email folder, and store every email we send you for future reference.
- You will have questions… There will be an “Ask the Doc a Question” form with every workout, video or article. You can use this form to ask for help or advice.
- Share this stuff… Share everything we give you with friends, family and coworkers. Use the share buttons and links for sharing videos and articles.
- Find a partner… Invite someone to do this program with you, i.e. your spouse, roommate, or a family member in another state. Help each other succeed.
- Don’t worry about being perfect… Simply focus on learning more and becoming better.
What to Expect…
I have designed and packaged this home study course into 3 phases:
Phase 1 = Designed to get you started with some type of home exercise program. We recommend the maxT3 Burst Training Program (you can purchase this DVD program in our office or online). First, try the DVD program on your own to ‘get your feet wet’ with Burst Training. This helped me understand the format of Burst Training, learn some new exercises, and appreciate the importance of starting simple. Second, workout with me while the program plays in the background as I will be giving you tips and suggestions not contained in the DVD program. Lastly, continue with the program on your own, and/or move to Phase 2.
Phase 2 = Designed to show you how I evolve and grow past maxT3, and more importantly, how you can too. I will be recording numerous Burst Training and Interval Training workout routines similar to the maxT3 program. These workouts are personally designed and demonstrated by me. Phase 2 will help you learn and grow by watching workout videos you can play on your laptop, phone or any mobile device.
Phase 3 = Designed to help you create your own workout routines. I will show you all of the key variables I manipulate to keep the workouts fun, challenging and effective Maybe having the freedom to create your own workout is not appealing? If so, I will be giving you a very long list of workout routines you can simply download and print. Then, you can take these workouts to the gym, the basement, or even the backyard.
Where Do We Start?
Follow these 3 steps to getting started:
Step 1 = Purchase the maxT3 DVD program as soon as possible. You can buy them online or in our office. There are other programs available. This is simply the one we prefer to do ourselves and teach to others. The format is unique and very user friendly. In addition, it was designed by a chiropractor and caters well to both beginner and advanced levels of fitness.
Step 2 = There is minimal equipment required to do this program. However, the more you have available the better the workouts will be. We recommend access to a few basic pieces: an exercise ball and a few resistance bands (light, medium, heavy, etc.). You can purchase these in our online store on our website, in our office, or at a local sporting goods store.
Step 3 = Click the “Get Started Now” button at the bottom of this page. Read and watch everything on that page. Here you can also access the byDESIGN Fitness library.
What Happens Next?
Simply get started with the maxT3 DVD program, like I did. Don’t drag your feet. Just get the program and get started.
From time to time you will get emails from us letting you know that we have created new workouts for you to try. We will be recording these workouts so you can just watch and follow along. We will also be compiling a list of workout routines that you can download, print and perform on your own if you wish.
Hopefully, you will start to naturally modify and create your own versions of this program. Don’t worry, we will be teaching you how to do this along the way as we go.
In the end, you will have the tools and the know-how to continue on with Burst Training and home exercise indefinitely.

What is the Best Way to Get Started?
By far the best way to get started with learning how to do Burst Training is the maxT3 DVD program. This is where I started, and I am so happy I did.
I have researched what else is available, and there are a few decent programs out there. But, until we create our own DVD program (and we will one day) I strongly suggest you use the maxT3 program as your starting point.
This program alone will likely get you in far better shape than you are now, as it did for me.
So, get a DVD the next time you are in the office. Or, if you need to, order it online.
Okay, Now What?
For people that start with the maxT3 DVD program…
Simply start the program as it is outlined, like I did. You will soon start to catch on to how Burst Training works, and why it works. For many, this program will keep them busy and satisfied for a good period of time.
If you are like me, you will soon start to wonder, “How else can I apply these principles?”.
This is where Phase 2 of the byDESIGN Fitness home study course comes into play.
Remember, I will be sending you emails from time to time to give you access to workouts I have created in similar fashion to maxT3. I plan on showing how creative, fun and challenging Burst Training can be.
For people without maxT3 and DIY’ers…
Well, there is always Google and YouTube. After all, this is how I taught myself – it just took a long time! I wish someone would have fast tracked me like I am trying to do for you.
And, like I said, there are other Burst Training workouts out there to purchase. So, feel free to do so.
However, I recommend plugging into our program and letting us guide you. I am certain you will get more, learn more and become more as a result.
