Spinal Traction is a stretch like no other. It is designed to change you, and it will – when you do it properly!

Suggestions and Ideas:

  • Restorative Care Phase: must be done as instructed (5-7 days per week, average session must be 15-20 minutes)
  • Maintenance & Wellness Care Phase: to be done as needed (a couple times per month, and only for 5-10 minutes per session)

The 3 NEVER DO’s:

  • NEVER let anyone else use your traction device! They likely have a differently shaped spine, and it could hurt them or cause damage. They should call our office, or an office like ours, and get expert advice that is right for them.
  • NEVER stop doing traction. It should be done indefinitely to maintain your improvements… much like wearing a retainer after the braces have straightened the teeth.
  • NEVER do traction without being under a Chiropractor’s care and active supervision. They must go hand in hand!
