Your “Relief vs Response” Feedback Is Important
To determine how eager or resistant your body is to change, we need to assess your “Relief vs Response” to your last visit. This will help the Doctor identify the next best step for you, i.e. can we go fast or should we go slow with you.
Relief vs Response Explained
RELIEF: feeling better, moving better, able to better perform daily activities, more energy, better sleep or mood, etc. This shows how eager your body is to change.
RESPONSE: tightness, soreness, or other symptoms in response to trying to change and improve your condition. This shows how resistant your body is to change.
IDEALLY, we (like you) would prefer to have maximum relief and minimal response. However, this is rarely the case for adults who have had their problems for a great deal of time and is NOT something the Doctor can magically predict or control. Truthfully, this is largely up to your own body.
