  • When maintaining flexibility and health in the upper body the backnobber should be used as needed (1-3/wk)

  • Keep the backnobber close for increased use. The closet is a bad idea! We suggest the couch or kitchen table.

  1. Water

  2. Salts

 Your Body is Designed to be Well Hydrated At All Times

It’s safe to say that most people you know, and perhaps including yourself, do not drink enough water to sustain optimal physiological function.

Getting to the point quickly…

By not giving your body what it needs, you are actively creating a situation that promotes pain, inflammation and disease. Said another way, your body will never function as it was designed to function if you choose to remain dehydrated.

When dehydrated, your body can not properly:  create energy, heal and repair itself, ward of disease, feel good consistently or function properly.

BASIC ADVICE:

  • You need to drink half your body weight in ounces per day
  • Track your water intake, counting as you consume. Without a goal and strategy, you will fail.

A STEP FURTHER:

  • Find clean, healthy water. Avoid tap water. Always be looking for better quality.

 Your Body’s Design Requires Healthy Salt Intake

It’s safe to say that most people you know, and perhaps including yourself, do not consume the right kind or amount of salt to sustain optimal physiological function.

Getting to the point quickly…

Did you know that many important physiological functions in your body are regulated by salt? Your body is designed to require salt in order to promote healthy:  heart function, kidney function, brain function, blood pressure, etc.

However, you must choose the right kind of salt!

When your body is salt depleted or when you consistently consume the wrong kind of salt, your body can not properly:  create energy, heal and repair itself, ward of disease, feel good consistently or function properly.

BASIC ADVICE:

  • Common table salt is unhealthy. Stop consuming it. Throw it out immediately.
  • Go to the health food store and buy only Himalayan Crystal Salt (pink in color).

Your Body’s Design Requires Daily Intake of Micronutrients

It’s safe to say that most people you know, including yourself perhaps, are micronutrient deficient and don’t even know it! Micronutrient deficiency is quickly becoming a leading cause of disease and illness.

Micronutrients are the key ingredients in fruits and vegetables that promote and sustain life when consumed. Your body needs a constant stream of micronutrients, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to get them from the foods you eat.

ALARMING FACTS:

Question:  How many servings of spinach today contain the same amount of iron of one serving grown in 1948?

Answer:  60

Questions:  How many peaches today contain the same amount of vitamin-A as two peaches grown in 1951?

Answer:  53

Getting to the point quickly…

Can you just take a multi-vitamin to make up the difference? No. Contrary to popluar opinion, multi-vitamins do not supply the body with micronutrients.

When your body is micronutrient depleted your body can not properly:  create energy, heal and repair itself, ward of disease, feel good consistently or function properly.

BASIC ADVICE:

  • Stop wasting money on multi-vitamins. Reinvest that money into a whole food based supplement.
